Connecting AI ideas to the data infrastructure that makes them real, and the recognitions that followed.

The gap

Many engineers have an AI idea but no path to a production system, because they lack the real-time data infrastructure any AI/ML implementation depends on. I combine postgraduate AI/ML training with hands-on ownership of an enterprise caching and real-time data platform to close that gap, for my own team and, through speaking and writing, for the wider profession.

Outcome: creating opportunity

A team member I gave ownership of a production security component on the caching platform, covering log interception and tokenization, went on to publish that work as a DZone article and as an IEEE conference paper on PCI DSS compliance.

Colleagues, consultants and interns across a 50+ person global team that has grown from 40+.

Industry Keynote Speaker at the International Conference on Innovations in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, organised by World Research Union with proceedings in IEEE Xplore. The talk showed how everyday AI-driven banking and retail experiences depend on real-time data infrastructure, for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
